Biography
Prof. Chandio completed his PhD studies from The University of Manchester, England, UK. in 2015. Currently he is a Chairman and Professor at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, NED University, Pakistan. He has over 75 publications in national and international journals that have been cited several times, and has been serving as a reviewer of reputed Journals too. Currently, Prof. Chandio is involved in several national projects such as Product Development, Failure Investigations, Rehabilitation of Barrages, Expert on various National Commissions (Bodies) on engineering materials etc. Moreover, some of the projects include Mineral resources, Steels, Armoured materials, Material failure investigations of aeroengine turbine and landing gears etc. In addition, he is also heading the “Materials & Surface Engineering” Research Group at the Department having Undergraduates, Masters and Ph.D students.
